Archie was in the *** swim so I went ***yds below the ******

Struggled...well 4 chub and a bream

Snagged twice, good excuse not to fish that one for a while

A couple of hours in the *** swim...well 2 1/2

1 barbel 8lb 9oz @ 19:00

A couple of bream and a few knocks

Took Chris to my new area, putting loads of bait in didn't really work

very quiet 'til 17:55

1st fish barbel about 8 1/2lbs

2nd barbel @ 19:05...the same fish again 12lb 3oz

Chris blanked next swim downstream

********** water, ***** stretch

5 or 6 perch to minnows, mainly very small though

Chris had a 15lb pike, then it all went very quiet

9lb barbel for me @ 19:35, plenty of knocks

Tried a bit closer to the **** but no good...ended up where I first started on that side

Lost 2, one was definately a good fish as probably was the other...

Caught 2 barbel...5/7lbs @ 15:15 and 16:10

Back on the *** **** of the ****, river has dropped about 3 feet

Quite slow...but better than ********

1 barbel 5/6lbs @ 20:10, also a couple of bream and a few knocks/ taps

Maybe nearer the **** next time over there?

Back again on the *** ****, better access via the *** car park

River had been over the top, just inside the banks now

Good daytime session, 3 decent fish and a chublet

9lb 3oz @ 12:45, 12lb 3oz @ 13:15 and 9lb 8 @ 15:00

12lber looks like the fish from 01/08, theres a couple of others I wouldnt mind catching again

At last made it to the *** **** of the ****, worth the walk

3 bream and 3 barbel 16:15, 18:05 (9lb 6oz) and 18:40

Some very deep spots and some not so deep, need to cast about and explore

River was rising fast, did become a bit boiley later on

Blanked, cold spell and getting colder...too cold left early, it was cold. Cold.

Gave him the tour of ****** then went to *****

Water was too cold at ***** so back to ******...

Lots of barbel again...1820, 1840, 1925, 1940, 2025, 2045, 2100, 2140

best fish weighing 9lb 9oz

Obviously a good swim if you want to catch lots of fish...

1605 lost fish

2130 lost big fish

1855, 1905, 1955, 2105, 2155, 2215 caught fish...but best only 9lb 1oz

gutted for the one lost, felt really good, not bothered about the other one...

****** swim, missed one and caught one close in (7lbs @ 13:00)

Came back later to the same swim, decent carp 16lb 2oz and 10lb 2oz barbel @ 20:25

Also a few bream and a foul hooked roach

Slow all round, only 1 barbel caught on the whole stretch

Managed a couple of roach, a bream and a bullhead...

New venue required for the next event...

Morning in the ****** swim

1 barbel at 08:10 (AM LOL), also lost a good fish near the ******

Evening in my old favourite, 1 barbel 12lb 0oz @ 19:45

Also a few chublets and assorted silver things on maggot feeder

I don't know what happened this day but I didn't blank...2 barbel I think but can't even remember where I fished

River still high, nothing in the margins again

***yds below the ******...3 barbel but all small ones @ 18:40, 19:30 and 20:20 (4 to 7lbs)

Also missed a one toner headed for ********* at 100mph...

All to left hand rod straight out...nothing in the margins

Stayed a bit later...left at 11 but quiet again later on
