Cold again, blanked in the *** swim

Boilies on 1 and deadbait on the other

Same swim as last wednesday, milder day in the middle of a cold spell

Managed to work fox shelter and the barbel were feeding

7/8lber @ 16:30, 10lb 6oz @ 17:35, 9lb 3oz @ 19:40 and 10lb 12oz @ 20:45

2 to pellet and 2 to boilies (and a bream)

nearly blanked, saved by a last minute chub

Started downstream of the ** ******, no bites but no confidence

Moved to one the ****** swims at about 6

2 barbel, 8lber @ 19:40 and 10lb 15oz @ 21:25

Also a couple of chub

Back on the *** **** and let Simon have my swim

2 barbel hooked fairly and 2 foul hooked including a familar one at 12lb 7oz

Times of capture 15:25, 18:10, 19:35 (f) and 19:55 (f)

Meant to be an afternoon with James and George, but James got lost

Blanked again on DRAC waters...lol

Didnt fish well but was in the wrong place...probably

cold spell but river up and 1/2 day booked off

one barbel 8lb 10oz @ 18:10, gave up early at 19:15

Had a long chat with Archie and left late anyway...

Very wet and windy, river back up and rising fast

1 barbel but only small @ 15:30 before the bream arrived

think I had about 8...Lots of crap coming down restricting my casting midriver

Same swim, river a little lower but still up a bit...

Early one again at 15:30 (pinhead) before losing something decent close in

A few bream before 13lb 4oz @ 20:35, happy with that

2 more as I packed up 10lb 12 @ 21:10 and smaller one @ 21:15

New net works fine...

*** swim to avoid that fish...

2 early ones before a 2 1/2 hour wait...4 more and lost one

Times...14:55, 16:50, 19:35, 20:10, 20:20 and 21:103 about 8 1/2, the rest smaller...

where did all these small fish come from

Broke landing net...

Again couldn't catch a livebait...

My fish now weighs 12lb 9oz @ 13:00

Moved to the ******* and then above the ******, should have stayed where I was
