The *** swim was a bit muddy so next 1 down

A scabby bream...a foul hooked 4lb barbel (17:15) and a 11lb 1oz barbel (19:15)

Good timing before the next cold spell...

***** *** with perch gear but river still 3ft up and steady

Caught 2 perch and lost 2, best 2 and a bit

Also a chub

Leaf city, 2 or 3 foot up...rising and falling...ended up down the side immediately below the **********

1 chub, plenty of knocks though

Turned up with my perch gear to find the river very high and coloured

2 bullheads...

2 perch, 1 3/4lbs and 3lb 3oz

Maybe the same fish and time to move on...

caught 1 and lost 1 close in (2lb something)

Lost 2 on the pole slightly further out

Must stop losing fish...!
