My name is Matt Kemp, I hope you enjoy reading my fishing diary. Just some short accounts of fishing on my local rivers (usually the Derbyshire Derwent or the Trent). I try to keep this diary updated as often as possible, and I do go fishing quite often. If its not been updated it probably means I've not been fishing.

just the 1 proper take, medium sized pike that got off
had a go for a barbel as being pestered by a group of them eating my stray maggots
must work out how to use reel, dont want to have to go in after my rod again
7lbs or so at 19:00...
