The route to my 1st choice of swims was underwater, ended up getting back in the car and driving elsewhere

Still nothing like last season down there...caught nothing

In fact no sign of any fish at all, very strange

Cold, wet and windy however a flash of inspiration saw me leave the comfort of watching footy on the tele in the warm...

Didnt fancy ****** ***** in the wind and rain but it did look good

Couldnt have done any worse than where I ended up, should have given it a go...

Not quite the bream fest Id promised...

2 bream for me and a ruffe for Archie

Another stretch of river to put on the back burner, the next one starts 300yds upstream...

Got to make this my last session in this area, it really isn't very good

Tried a new swim about 1/2 way down for one bream and a lost bream at the net

No doubt I will be back at some point though...

Trent at the top of its banks at ********** and ended up on the *** **** of the ****

No supprise as to which fish I caught...

Now weighing 12lb 6oz and caught at 18:05

Camera still needs batteries, watch stopped and head torch on its way out...need a battery shop desperately!

River rising, coloured, lots of crap coming down, should have been ideal

May have hooked a bream but it turned into a snag

This stretch will produce one day I'm sure...

Should really take a brolly when fishing in the rain...got a bit wet

1 barbel about 10 1/2lbs @ 20:40...scales playing up though
