My name is Matt Kemp, I hope you enjoy reading my fishing diary. Just some
short accounts of fishing on my local rivers (usually the Derbyshire Derwent or the Trent). I try to keep this diary updated as often as possible, and I do go fishing quite often. If its not been updated it probably means I've not been fishing.

Ended the year with a couple of fish, makes a change from my recent results. Just a small jack and an angry looking bream but both very welcome. Water temps up a bit at 5.5 degrees, just nice to be out fishing again after a week of flu...
